Can I try Pro before I pay?
Yes — every Pro purchase comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If SnipTray is not for you, email us and we will refund you, no questions asked. Teams plans get a 14-day free trial up front.
Is Pro a one-time purchase or a subscription?
Pro is a recurring subscription with two billing options: $2.99 per month billed monthly, or $24.99 per year billed annually (works out to just $2.08 per month — saving you about 30%). Cancel anytime from SnipTray Settings or your Apple ID subscriptions. If you would rather pay once and never subscribe, we also offer a Lifetime plan at $79.99 one-time.
What is the Lifetime plan?
Lifetime is a one-time purchase of $79.99 that gives you everything in Pro forever — unlimited history, iCloud sync across all your Apple devices, unlimited pinboards and snippets, all future updates, and priority support. No subscription, no recurring charges. Best for long-term users who would rather pay once.
How does the Teams plan work?
Teams uses the same per-seat price as Pro: $2.99 per user per month, or $24.99 per user per year (saving 30% versus monthly billing). When you have 5 or more seats, an automatic 10% volume discount is applied on top — so a team of 5 on the annual plan costs $112.46 / year ($9.37 / month total). You invite your teammates by email or iCloud, everyone gets unlimited shared pinboards plus everything in Pro, and you can add or remove seats anytime — billing prorates automatically.
Do you offer discounts for students or non-profits?
Yes — students with a verified .edu email and registered non-profits get 50% off any plan. Email hello@sniptray.com from your verified address and we will set you up.
Can I switch between plans?
Anytime. Upgrade from Free to Pro instantly; downgrade from Teams to Pro at the end of your billing cycle. All your history, pinboards, and snippets stay intact when you switch.
How do I cancel?
Pro and Teams subscriptions can be cancelled with a single click in the SnipTray Settings, or directly in your Apple ID subscriptions. After cancellation, SnipTray automatically reverts to the Free plan and you keep access to your latest 25 clips and your local pinboards.
Will my prices ever go up?
If we ever raise prices for new customers, existing customers stay on their current price for at least one full billing year. We will email you well in advance.
Does Teams include SSO?
Apple ID-based sign-in is the default for Teams. Enterprise SSO via SAML or Sign in with Apple for Work is on the roadmap and will be included with Teams at no extra cost when it ships.
