Organizing your snips
Pin snippets for instant access
Pin your most-used snips and paste them with ⌘⇧1 through ⌘⇧9.
Pinning lifts a snip out of history so it is always one keystroke away. It is the fastest way to reuse the handful of snippets you paste every day.
- 1 Highlight any snip in the tray and press P to pin it.
- 2 Pinned snips appear at the top and each get a number shortcut.
- 3 Paste a pinned snip from anywhere with ⌘⇧1 through ⌘⇧9 — no need to open the tray first.
Note
Pinned snips never expire under auto-cleanup, so they are safe to rely on long-term.
