Organizing your snips
Search and tags
Find anything instantly and use tags to keep snips grouped and protected.
Open the tray and just start typing — search behaves like Spotlight, matching across content, source app, file name, and even color values.
Search filters
- Type any text for a fuzzy match across your whole history.
- Use type prefixes like color:, code:, or image: to narrow by snip type.
- Use #tagname to show only snips carrying that tag.
Tagging snips
- 1 Highlight a snip and press T.
- 2 Type a tag name and press Return.
- 3 Filter to it any time with #tagname in the search bar.
Tip
Tagged snips survive auto-cleanup, so tagging is a lightweight way to keep something without pinning it.
