Auto-cleanup rules
Keep history tidy by expiring snips after an hour, a day, a week, or never.
On paid plans you can set how long SnipTray keeps snips before it clears them automatically, so your history stays relevant instead of endless.
Set a cleanup window
- 1 Open Settings → History.
- 2 Choose an auto-cleanup window: 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, or Never.
- 3 SnipTray removes anything older than that window in the background.
Note
Pinned and tagged snips are exempt from auto-cleanup, so the things you rely on stay put no matter what window you pick.
Tip
To wipe everything now, use Clear History in Settings → History. This cannot be undone.
