Snip types and previews

Text, images, links, files, and colors each get a tailored preview.

SnipTray detects what you copied and previews it appropriately, which makes scanning history much faster.

Text and rich text: the first lines of content, with formatting preserved when you paste.
Links: the URL plus a title when one is available.
Images: a thumbnail you can preview at full size.
Files: the file name and icon, ready to paste back into Finder or an upload field.
Colors: a swatch alongside the hex or RGB value.

Tip

Filter by type while searching with prefixes like color:, code:, or image: — for example, type "color:" to see only color values you have copied.
