Paste is not working
Almost always a missing accessibility permission — here is the fix.
If pressing Return in the tray copies a snip but does not paste it into your app, SnipTray is missing accessibility permission.
- 1 Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
- 2 Make sure SnipTray is present and its toggle is on.
- 3 If it was already on, toggle it off and on again, then relaunch SnipTray.
Tip
The snip is still on your clipboard, so you can always paste manually with ⌘V while you sort out the permission.
